Primary Care for Westlake, TX Residents
We see patients age 16 and older.
Westlake sits just west of us along the SH 114 corridor, which for most residents means a drive measured in minutes rather than tens of minutes. It is one of the closer primary care options available, and it does not involve a hospital campus or a parking structure.
Getting here from Westlake
SH 114 east and exit toward the Kirkwood Blvd area in Southlake. It is a straightforward run with no complicated turns.
From the Solana and Circle T office campuses, take 114 east directly. From the residential side near Vaquero and Glenwyck Farms, Davis Boulevard or Ottinger Road east to 114 works well.
From the Westlake Academy area you are looking at a short hop along the corridor.
Why Westlake patients come here
Westlake has very little primary care inside its own boundaries, so residents drive somewhere regardless. The question is only which direction and how far.
What patients tell us matters most:
- The same nurse practitioner, Rachael Bowen, NP, at every visit rather than whoever is available
- Same-day slots held open Tuesday through Friday, plus Saturday afternoons
- Labs drawn in the office, so there is no second stop at a separate draw station
- Appointment length that allows the conversation to actually finish
- Free surface parking directly in front of the building
Dr. Farhan Abdullah, DO, board certified in internal medicine, serves as Medical Director and sets the clinical protocols the practice follows.
Good fit for the 114 office corridor
A lot of people who live in Westlake or work in the office campuses along 114 find a midday appointment far easier than an evening one.
We are minutes off the highway with parking at the door, so a routine visit generally fits inside a lunch hour. For follow-ups that do not need an exam, our telehealth visits remove the drive entirely.
What we handle
Annual physicals, chronic conditions including diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and thyroid disease, same-day sick visits, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, preventive and cancer screening, and medical weight management.
We see patients age 16 and older. No pediatrics, no prenatal care, and no urgent or emergency services.
Practical details
Free surface parking directly in front of the building with a short flat walk to the entrance. See which insurance plans we accept and what to bring as a new patient.
Our primary care Southlake overview explains how the practice works, and our Trophy Club page covers the same stretch of 114 from the other direction.

Questions from Westlake patients
How far is it from Westlake?
A few minutes along the SH 114 corridor. For most Westlake addresses it is one of the closest primary care offices available, and considerably closer than driving toward Fort Worth or Dallas.
Do you see patients from the Solana and Circle T areas?
Yes. Both are a short drive east on 114 or along Davis Boulevard, and we see a number of patients who work in the office campuses there.
Can I be seen on a lunch break?
Many patients are. We are minutes off 114 with parking directly in front, so a routine visit generally fits inside a lunch hour without the parking garage problem.
Do you take the plans common through local employers?
We accept most major commercial plans. Because networks change every year, check our insurance page or call with your specific plan name before booking.
